Naoto Nakamura is a photographer based in Austin, TX. After spending a lifetime behind a camera capturing various subjects, he finally decided to pursue a formal education in photography at the age of 28 after an existential moment of revelation during late spring of 2017. His primary venture in photography is photojournalism, however he stays involved with the photographic community by working in other branches. Working as a part-time assistant for commercial photographers, and taking on a few commercial projects of his own, he has had the opportunity to meet and work with others who share the same passion for photography. Hungry for more, he aims to continue on his path of personal discovery and ambition. He also finds it very strange to write in the third-person.
